How to obtain a Licence
What is needed to obtain a provisional licence?
Both European & Non European citizens will need to prove that they have lived in Cyprus for at least 6 months.
European Citizens:
A completed T.O.M. 7A application form
Recent passport sized photos (3)
Passport or I.D.C & copy
If Available: Alien Book (& copy) or Certificate of Registration (Yellow slip)
Appropriate Fee
Knowledge of Road Signs
Non-Europeans:
A completed T.O.M. 7A application form
Recent passport sized photos (3)
Passport & copy
Alien book & copy
Valid Pink slip (if available) & copy
Knowledge of road signs
If students, need certificate from school, college, or university.
 
British Forces - Dependants:
Passport & copies
Status Certificate (date showing stay in Cyprus for 6 months)
Passport sized photos (3)
A completed T.O.M. 7A application form
Appropriate Fee
Knowledge of road signs
 
British Forces - Servicemen:
I.D.C (Army)
Copy of Army ID signed & stamped by unit
Letter from work on headed paper stating full name & stay in Cyprus for 6 months (signed & stamped by unit)
Passport sized photos (3)
Appropriate Fee

For the practical driving test application you need:
European citizens:
A completed T.O.M. 25 application form
Valid provisional licence (Cypriot or EU)
Appropriate Fee
 
* If EU Licence is being used then proof of 6 months of being in Cyprus is required.
Non-Europeans:
A completed T.O.M. 25 application form
Valid Cypriot provisional licence
Copy of valid Pink Slip
Appropriate Fee
 
IF YOU FAIL YOUR TEST YOU CAN APPLY AGAIN WHICH TAKES A MINIMUM OF 4 WEEKS BY LAW. IF YOU PASS YOU CAN GET YOUR LICENCE THE SAME DAY DEPENDING ON THE TIME.
